Mutual of Omaha Aha Moment Interview for Aunt Lou Books!
Aunt Lou Book Series
About the Author
Rachel Jeanette Hall Stolle was raised in a little town called Jefferson, in North East Texas. As soon as she was born, God never left her side. He guided her through economic hardships, sexual abuse by a distant family member, an attempted kidnapping turned carjacking, and years of spiritual warfare.
Today Rachel is a Baylor University graduate, ex La Vega ISD 8-12th grade science teacher, motivational speaker, cake decorator, youth pastor, hopeful adoptive parent, and stay-at-home mom in Waco, Texas. As she looks back at her childhood with great appreciation and respect for the unending love of her Heavenly Father, her relationship with God grows even stronger.
Rachel's first children's picture book was released on September 12, 2010. "Why Did This Happen to Me, Aunt Lou?" was the first in a series of Christian picture stories for children designed to help parents integrate God and scriptures into the everyday explanations they give their children, while honoring the life of Louise Ritchie.
The second book in the series, "Tell Me About Easter, Aunt Lou.", is now also available for purchase. It is a beautifully illustrated Christian childrens' book that helps children to understand why we celebrate Easter the way that we do, while also reminding them about the importance of Jesus' gift of His life for us on our cross of salvation.
"Why Do Our Loved Ones Die, Aunt Lou?" is the third creationin the series and was released in 2011 as well.
Future titles in this series will include but are not limited to "Why Did Jesus Get Fishermen For Helpers, Aunt Lou?", and "Tell Me About Christmas, Aunt Lou".
